Overview

A private Swirl Bowl Evening for one or two participants in a focused studio setting.

This format allows for a quieter, more concentrated session dedicated to surface, glaze, and individual guidance.

Each participant decorates a small, pre-formed bisque Swirl bowl.

All sessions are personally led by Anna Katharina Jens in her London studio.

Format

• One session · 2–2.5 hours
• One or two participants
• Exclusive use of the studio during your session
• No prior clay experience required

This is a more intimate format, with additional space for discussion and individual direction.

Glazing

Participants work with a curated palette of 40+ Stroke & Coat glazes.

We explore:

• Colour balance

• Layering techniques

• Surface decisions in relation to form

Finished pieces are glaze-fired and available for collection after firing.

• One small bisque Swirl bowl per participant

• All glaze materials and tools

• Glaze firing

• Personal guidance throughout

• Exclusive studio setting

Additional small bisque Swirl bowls may be purchased during the session, subject to availability.

Course Fee

£450 total (for one or two participants)
