Ceramic Murals & Installations

Ceramic murals allow me to extend the language of clay beyond the vessel and into architectural space.

Each installation responds to its environment, integrating structure, surface, and ornament.

Working at scale shifts the relationship between material and architecture, turning clay into something spatial rather than object-based.

The Garden Goddess

Ceramic Mural, 2025

The Garden Goddess draws on medieval symbolism and mythic guardianship. Positioned within the landscape, she functions as both figure and presence, inhabiting the architectural surface rather than merely decorating it.

The composition combines repeated circular motifs with layered botanical forms, creating rhythm and movement across the wall. Individually shaped ceramic elements form a tactile surface that responds to changing light and weather.

The work explores protection, growth, and the quiet continuity between human figure and natural environment.

Spring Interior

Ceramic installation, 2025

This installation extends existing architectural panelling into ceramic form, wrapping around the chimney breast and integrating clay directly into the structure of the space.

The composition transitions from tiled surface to layered floral relief, allowing ornament to emerge gradually from geometry. Repeated botanical motifs introduce rhythm and movement, while the corner placement reinforces the relationship between sculpture and architecture.

The work explores how ceramic can soften and transform interior boundaries, merging structural form with organic growth.
