*ALP Collectibles* Unicorn Mug · Round Form 2025

The Unicorn Mug · Round Form belongs to a series inspired by the medieval Unicorn Tapestry at the Victoria and Albert Museum. I wanted to capture the quiet symbolism and timeless beauty of that work and translate it into a form meant to be held and lived with.

Each mug was hand-built in earthenware and carved patiently, line by line, until the surface began to echo the movement of woven threads. The antique brass optic glaze gives it depth and warmth, shifting softly between bronze and gold as light touches the relief.

The round silhouette feels both functional and sculptural. It stands as a daily object yet carries the presence of something ceremonial. Every curve, handle, and detail was formed by hand, without molds or repetition.

Dimensions: 16 × 12 × 8 cm (≈ 6.3 × 4.7 × 3.1 in), holds approximately 500 ml (≈ 17 fl oz)
