Warm Greetings from My London Studio

It has been another very eventful week, both in and out of the studio.

First things first, and most importantly: Mr. Belvedere has recovered very well from his operation and is almost back to his old self. Everything seems to be healing as it should, and I am incredibly relieved. Fingers crossed it stays this way.

At the Studio Table
I glaze-fired a new batch of Swirl Bowls this week, added the gold lustre details, and they are now live in the shop. A few are still available if you would like to have a look.

I am also finalising something many of you in the US have asked for: a new all-inclusive buying option for US customers. This will include shipping and tariffs upfront, so there are no surprise charges on delivery and the experience feels as smooth and worry-free as possible.
At the same time, I will be offering a reduced rate for UK and EU customers, as shipping within these regions does not involve the same additional costs. The goal is simply to keep things fair and transparent, depending on where you are ordering from.

This option is currently being set up, and I am hoping to bring it live later today or tomorrow.

The garden mural is taking a short pause. I still want to add a frame and do a bit of final grout touch-up, but I did not find the time this week.

What did happen, though, is that I finally glazed the kitchen mural. Glazing a piece like this always feels a bit like painting blind. You can make informed decisions, but you never truly know how the colours will come together until the kiln is opened. The pieces are in the kiln right now, and if all goes well, I will be opening it on Tuesday. I am very curious to see how it turned out.

Work in Progress
I also made a small batch of Christmas ornaments and launched a festive giveaway
on Instagram. You can still take part in the Mini Magic Blue Swirl Bowl giveaway
via my Instagram post. It runs until the 24th of December at midnight GMT.

From the Kiln
Alongside the ceramic work, I’ve created a small set of Mr. Belvedere postcards using photographs taken over the years by a dear person. They’re simple, tactile, and quietly beautiful. I also made a matching sticker to go with them.

If you’ve ever followed my work for the stories as much as the objects, this is a small, accessible way to bring a piece of that world into your home. The postcard and sticker set is available on my website, and every purchase helps cover Mr. Belvedere’s
recent medical treatment.

As the year draws to a close, I want to wish you all a peaceful and gentle time.
Merry Christmas to those who celebrate, and for everyone else, I hope the coming days bring rest, warmth, and a little space to breathe.

Thank you, as always, for being here and for following along.

Until next week,
